Our team
Blueprint & Pen is the shared vision of husband and wife duo, Newton and ZaBrina, combining their unique passions and expertise to offer exceptional business consulting services. Our journey began in December 2015 when we met in Buffalo, New York, and since then, our lives have been a testament to our love for each other and our shared values.
After moving from the East Coast to the NorCal Coast in 2016, and later to Washington in 2017, we made our commitment to building a life together, culminating in a proposal at our favorite spot in May 2020, where Newton wished on an eyelash. We were married in 2021 and now have a child together, alongside Newton's three older children from a previous relationship.
Blueprint & Pen was born from our desire to blend our passions into a purpose-driven business. Newton’s expertise in construction management and ZaBrina’s talent for document writing, editing, and strategic thinking come together to offer tailored business consulting services to the construction industry. Whether it’s managing projects, providing technical editing, or creating polished written content, we bring a high level of professionalism, creativity, and dedication to every client we serve.

Our history
Newton’s career began in the construction industry, where he worked as a truck driver and laborer for a construction company. This hands-on experience gave him a solid foundation in the practical aspects of construction. At the young age of 33, Newton became co-owner of a construction company where he took on the role of executive project manager, overseeing projects from start to finish, managing teams, and ensuring smooth operations.
ZaBrina’s background is rooted in administrative and organizational excellence. She worked for a vacation rental company as part of a specialized team where she helped create protocols and procedures, developed important documents, handled data entry, made meeting notations, and managed scheduling. Additionally, ZaBrina is a two-time published literary editor, with a passion for helping others bring clarity and polish to their written work.
